Earlier today, The Killers released a music video for their somber, holiday-themed track “Christmas In L.A.,” which will be used to raise money for Red Project. You can view it in full here.
Dawes lends a hand to the Las Vegas-based outfit throughout the tune, resulting in a beautifully introspective soundscape, which, despite being laden with heavy topic matter, is no-less enduring. The video itself, which was directed by Kelly Loosi, switches between live action and animation, and features Owen Wilson, who plays a disheartened actor spending the holidays alone on the west coast. This is the seventh consecutive year The Killers have released a charity Christmas song.
