Delaware/New Jersey sextet I Am Heresy have become the latest heavy outfit to join the ranks of Century Media Records.

In a press release distributed Wednesday afternoon, Century Media welcomed the band to their roster with the announcement their first release through the label, titled Thy Will, is scheduled for release March 4 of 2014. A description of the band’s sound describes their take on rock as ‘an eruption channeling the passionate hardcore/punk fury of early Boysetsfire streaking ferociously down the middle of the metallic-tinged prowess and influences of fellow hardcore giants Integrity and Converge. Imposing. Frenetic. Unrelenting. And certainly unrepentant.’

When asked about the group’s new album, Nathan Gray (vocals) offered:

“A new ethos is born…Come ye daughters and sons of chaos and mystery! We intend to rebuild and create the archetypes of rebellion and revolution against self induced repression. Reveling in anthemic battle songs of lust, pride and indulgence in order to create a ritual purification from the stagnant impotence of servitude and self denial.”

Thy Will was engineered and produced by John Ferrara at Portrait Studios, who also engineered and produced I Am Heresy’s debut EP, O Day Star, Son Of Dawn. The album was mastered by Kevin Mattesky at Phantom Center Media. Click below to stream a song from I Am Heresy titled “Hive Mind.”
