R. Kelly Will Release Additional ‘Trapped In The Closet’ Chapters In 2014

Thirty-three chapters and counting, R. Kelly‘s Trapped In The Closet series just won’t quit.

Just days before the December 10 release of his new album, Black Panties, R. Kelly has announced plans to release new chapters of his Trapped In The Closet series through IFC in Spring 2014. A statement on IFC’s official site promises “more drama, more crazy situations, more tumultuous relationships, more Sylvester, more Pimp Lucius, more Reverend Mosely, more everything that you love about Trapped in the Closet.

While speaking with Billboard earlier this month, Kelly revealed that he has plans to film at least 10 additional chapters to his popular hip hopera. “I’m going to start putting out music like Jordans after ‘Black Panties,'” he said. “I don’t want people to get it twisted: R. Kelly is going to be R. Kelly.”

There is currently no release date for the latest chapters in the Trapped In The Closet saga, but we do know IFC is planning a marathon featuring the current thirty-three clips starting this Saturday, December 7, at 5:15 PM (ET).
