The War On Drugs Announce New Album, Stream New Track

The War on Drugs announced earlier today that they will be releasing a new album, titled Lost in the Dream, on March 18 through Secretly Canadian. In addition, the Philadelphia-based quartet also released the first single off the album, entitled “Red Eyes,” which can be streamed at the bottom of this post, following the jump.

This most recent effort will serve as a follow-up to 2011’s Slave Ambient, which fared well critically, and will be the group’s third full-length overall. Lost in the Dream was written by frontman Adam Granduciel over a period of two years in New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Philadelphia.

At the end of this month, The War on Drugs will begin an extensive North American tour in support of Lost in the Dream; for details, consult the band’s official website.
