For those of you who are nerdy enough to know the names of at least a handful of villains should easily know who Apocalypse is. For those of you who are unaware, allow me to introduce him. He is one of the top ranking villains in the Marvel universe, and first made his appearance in the X-Men comics from the ’80s. In one of the comic series it’s revealed that he is thought to be the very first mutant, which was around 5,000 years ago.
We all know that there is an X-Men film in our future, titled X-Men: Days Of Future Past. However, as of a few hours ago it was recently revealed to us that there is something new coming, per a tweet by director Bryan Singer. He tweeted some hashtags that have fans in a frenzy, and it seems that he’s suggesting there will be a new X-Men movie in 2016, featuring Apocalypse. Those are all the details we have right now, but you can check out his tweet by taking a look below.
