With the recent news that Wonder Woman has been cast in the upcoming superhero epic, Batman vs. Superman, questions are already being asked in relation to a possible love triangle between Superman, Lois, and Wonder Woman.

In the comic canon, the love triangle between the three is ever present, with Wonder Woman and Lois both vying for Clark’s affections. When posed this question at a recent event for American Hustle, Lois Lane actress Amy Adams came to the conclusion that such a thing would not be of interest to her.

“Am I interested? I don’t know, I mean, we’ll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we’re not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries.” Further concluding, “Wouldn’t it be nice if women weren’t always just, like, cat-fighting and stuff?”

I agree with Adams to a certain extent, and while I am incredibly excited for the upcoming film, as I have stated before, I am fearful of how fast Warner Bros. is attempting to bring everything together. The things that made The Avengers so awesome, was their essential build to comic euphoria, not their relentless haste to catch up with prior films.

But, we shall see! With production beginning in February, it is only a matter of time until we have more information.
