Kelly Clarkson Releases “Silent Night” Video

As someone who has long hated Christmas music I have spent a surprising amount of time this fall covering holiday themed releases. It has been by no means intentional, but I refuse to overlook a great piece of art simply because I am not a ‘fan’ of the record’s theme. Two such releases from 2013 that come to mind are Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson, the latter of which has a brand new video.

Featuring appearances from Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire, “Silent Night” is the latest track off Kelly Clarkson’s Wrapped In Red album to receive a promotional push. The video finds Clarkson performing live in front of thousands, and as the track progresses her guests join when their verse begins. By the end, the song is being sung in a round by three of the biggest female vocalists of all time and it sounds as beautiful as you would expect. You can view the video, courtesy of CMT, below.

Wrapped In Red, Kelly Clarkson’s first holiday release, is available now wherever music is sold. We’re certainly not the type of site to go wild for themed releases, but this record sleighs. Get it?
