The xx Announce Series Of Intimate NYC Shows

Longtime fans of any band love to reminisce about seeing shows with less than fifty people in attendance, but it’s rare that anyone gets the opportunity to see a band in their prime perform such a small show. In that regard, fans of The xx are in luck, as the British experimental pop group announced a residency of intimate performances at Park Avenue Armory in New York City.

The twenty-five shows will take place over eleven nights in March of next year, and each performance will be limited to forty attendees. It will no doubt be a unique experience for anyone lucky enough to get in, and I can’t think of a better atmosphere to witness The xx’s brand of dark, moody pop music.

Unsurprisingly, tickets for the shows appear to have sold out already, but you can check out the dates after the break.
