Mike Posner spent the majority of 2013 working on new material and dropping the occasional single to remind fans he’s still at it. We could spend a good editorial debating the merit of those singles, but like any new music series they were relatively hit or miss based on who you ask. This song, however, is another story altogether.

There is not a lot of discussion about how long major collaborations take to make happen, but in order for Mike Posner to create “Top Of The World” he needed over a year and a half. Produced by Diplo, the song pairs Posner with longtime collaborator Big Sean for a track about living life to the fullest. Work hard, have fun, take care of the people who take care of you, and with enough drive you too can find yourself on top of the world. You can stream the single below:
