Production For ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Will Be The Largest To Take Place In Michigan

As we near the beginning of production for the tentatively titled Man of Steel sequel, Batman vs. Superman, we have found out that the shooting will be the largest the state of Michigan has ever seen.

The Detroit Free Press says that the “Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac will play a key role in what’s considered the biggest movie shoot ever to land in the state. The studio complex is serving as home to production offices for the Warner Bros./DC Entertainment project. When filming starts next year, all seven of the soundstages will be used. The still-untitled Superman-Batman movie is expected to occupy the complex through August.”

Filming as of now, is set to start in February of next year. Filling all the sound stages and running until August, all within the rush to make that Summer 2015 deadline, this is a grand undertaking. Sure to bring a lot of jobs (temporary, at the least) to the state, Synder and company will be spending most of next year at the complex, granted some other on location shootings.

Things are beginning to happen. Stay close to UTG for anything else Batman vs. Superman related.
