Resonate/Desperate, the sophomore LP from California’s State Faults is an unrelenting mix of post-hardcore and spastic screamo, but their new music video for “Wildfires” shows a lighter side of the band. Composed primarily of footage from recent tours, the clip includes beaches, desert hikes, and substantially more smiles than you might expect to accompany a song with the lyrics, “Misery, does this all mean nothing?”
The live shots in the video, however, are just as wild as the song suggests, and they serve as a great advertisement for State Faults’ upcoming tour dates with fellow Californians Capsize. Check out the video and tour dates after the break, and order a copy of Resonate/Desperate from No Sleep Records.
