Cole Williams, the Belgium born singer known to the music world as The Child of Lov, passed away last week at the age of 26 due to complications from a surgery.

His manager confirmed in a statement to NME, “On behalf of the family and as his manager I must announce that Martijn Teerlinck, aka Cole Williams, aka The Child of Lov, aka Sun Patzer, is no longer with us. He lived a life of struggle and can now rest peacefully.”

He released his debut self-titled album this year with contributions from Damon Albarn and DOOM. Not long after his album dropped, The Child of Lov took a step out of the spotlight when he had to cancel several big gigs.
