The Hotelier (Formerly The Hotel Year) Announce ‘Home, Like No Place Is There’, Stream New Song

The Hotelier (formerly known as The Hotel Year) are one of punk’s best kept secrets. In a perfect world, their 2011 album, …It Never Goes Out, would have have made them a household name, but the world isn’t perfect, and the heartfelt, heart-wrenching record remains criminally underappreciated. Hopefully that will change in 2014, as the Dudley, Massachusetts quartet is set to release Home, Like No Place Is There through Tiny Engines on February 18.

You can stream the first single from the album, “The Scope of All This Rebuilding,” after the break. Vocalist Christian Holden anchors the track with his desperate singing/yelling hybrid, but the whole band is in top form throughout. If you like what you hear, you can preorder the album from Tiny Engines, and as an added bonus, those who preorder will receive a digital copy in January, well before the official street date.
