UTG EXCLUSIVE STREAM: La Bella Charade – “Gospel Truth”

St. Louis pop-punk quartet La Bella Charade have returned to the Midwest limelight with a spout of vigorous energy on the new track and UTG exclusive release, “Gospel Truth.” The second song released off of the upcoming EP, Sleepwalkers, “Gospel Truth” is arguably the most explosive track on a record ready to turn heads. The band opened up to UTG about the story behind the writing of “Gospel Truth,” telling us it is a “testament to the successes we’ve tasted, the failures we’ve endured, and our future that has yet to be written.”

Gospel truth is a song about staying true to one’s self. It’s about following the things that you’re passionate about, not the things that will bring you monetary gain. It’s about brushing aside the people who don’t believe in you and pushing forward. Three years ago we started this band because we loved playing music together. Our love for creating music has kept us together through all the debt, van breakdowns, member changes, and other hardships every band eventually deals with. This song is a testament to the successes we’ve tasted, the failures we’ve endured, and our future that has yet to be written.
