There is nothing we look forward to more than having the opportunity to help bands we love promote their new releases, and this afternoon we’re beyond excited to be exclusively premiering the first single from War Games’ upcoming EP.

Featuring essentially the same structure, “The Only Debt We Bear Is Love” has been completely stripped of its original alt-rock intensity and left with a moving, acoustic ballad that packs an emotional punch in the gut like no other. The song is one of a handful that will be included on The Acoustic Sessions EP, which currently has no release date. You can stream the new version of “The Only Debt We Bear Is Love” below.

On a personal note, two summers ago I spent the better part of two months working with War Games as part of the Vans Warped Tour. Their drive to succeed is second to none, but even though they take both their career and music seriously the members of War Games could not be nicer people. It’s an honor to work with them on this premiere, and I certainly hope we can create more original content for you to enjoy in the months to come.
