MIXTAPE: King Louie – ‘Drilluminati 2’

You cannot throw a rock in the rap game today without hitting someone carrying the city of Chicago on their back. From Kanye, to Lupe, Chance, Keef, and King Louie the windy city is boasting some of the game’s hottest talent right now and earlier today one of those stars delivered an impressive new mixtape.

Serving as the official follow-up to Drilluminati from 2012, Drilluminati 2 found its way online early this morning. The release features thirteen ferocious new tracks from Chi-town’s grittiest young voice and includes guest appearances from Lil Herb and Leek. You can stream and download the album, in full, at the end of this post.

You may or may not remember when King Louie delivered his Pusha T assisted banger “My Hoes They Do Drugs,” but there is no way you will forget his name after hearing Drilluminati 2. From front to back King Louie has pieced together an aggressive, often catchy collection of street anthems that will have you reaching for the repeat button again and again. If you have been hungry for some hip-hop with bite, look no further.
