Over the course of their career, Stick To Your Guns have become synonymous with positivity, their music often preaching of hope and the acceptance of others despite their respective differences. What’s more, the group has shown countless times in the past that they are not scared to stand up for the ideals which they’ve come to represent, which has since cemented them as one of the most respected hardcore acts around.
Earlier today, the five-piece once again affirmed their badass-ness by announcing two benefit shows in which all the proceeds will go to The Trevor Project, a LGBT crisis/suicide prevention organization. The first show is set to take place in Rancho Cucamonga on January 24, and the other in Yucaipa the following day; the admission for both performances will be a mere $5. Additionally, there will also be a limited amount of VIP tickets available through Showstubs.
In a world fraught with countless musicians who adhere to a considerably less admirable set of morals, it’s good to know that there are still bands out there like STYG, who’re using their music to spread a message and make a difference. I can assure you that you won’t want to miss this set of shows, but if you don’t believe me, then I highly suggest you check out the group’s latest video for “The Bond,” which can be viewed below.
