It looks like our speculation was right. After posting pictures on Facebook of the So Long, Astoria lineup of the band, The Ataris have announced that they will be performing the whole album on tour. No dates or timeframe have been announced, but the band has confirmed that they will be taking out Authority Zero, Drag The River, Versus The World, and Gasoline Heart as support.
While it is still unclear if the lineup will remain permanent or if they’re just joining singer Kris Roe for one tour, this is a dream come true for fans of the classic album. Check out the tour poster after the jump.
John Bazley was raised in central New Jersey by the romantic aura of the Asbury Park beachfront, punk rock, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. He is still trying to figure all of this stuff out.
