Christmas has come early for fans of Sumerian Records.
Following months of hype and a few early teasers, After The Burial have released a stream of their new album. Titled Wolves Within, this nine track release features a little bit of everything After The Burial fans have come to enjoy. From bouncy tracks reminiscent of the band’s early work, to the more experimental sound that drove more recent releases, there is something for everyone amidst the barrage of crashing drums and chugging guitars. You can stream the album, in full, at the end of this post.
To be perfectly honest we have not had the time to squeeze in a review of Wolves Within just yet, but having listened to the record twice in the last day I can say longtime supporters will be pleased with the band’s latest work. There are few bouncier moments you may think ‘this could be any Sumerian band,’ but in the end, Wolves Within is still a thoroughly satisfying release. Enjoy!
