Run The Jewels Releasing Deluxe Edition of Self-titled, Stream Dave Sitek’s Remix of “Sea Legs”

Rap duo Run The Jewels, made of El-P and Killer Mike, are going to be putting out a deluxe “European edition” of their excellent self-titled debut on January 13 through Big Dada. The release will come with brand new artwork and three bonus tracks: “Pew Pew Pew” (which we heard a snippet of a few days ago), a remix of “Sea Legs” by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, and a remix of “36″ Chain” by hip-hop duo Blue Sky Black Death.

Sitek’s rework of “Sea Legs” is sharp and dark, cutting the song down to half it’s time. Who’d have guessed an electronic stuttering would work so well? Listen to it below:

I pre-ordered the deluxe edition vinyl awhile ago and got the bonus tracks. They’re so good. “Pew Pew Pew” is one of the best tracks they’ve released yet.
