Massachussetts hardcore act Bane have begun work on their fourth full-length album and first since 2005’s The Note. The album will be titled Don’t Wait Up, and it is being recorded at Getaway Studios with Jay Maas of fellow northeast hardcore powerhouse Defeater.
Along with the news about the start of recording, Bane also announced that Don’t Wait Up will be their final album. Regarding the content of the record, the band said, “Fans can expect a record that spans the sounds and emotions of nearly 20 years of being a band.”
There was no indication of whether Bane will continue to tour after the release of Don’t Wait Up or if they will be done for good, but we will keep you updated as details surface.
