In a follow up to the No. 16 Video of the Year “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe,” Kendrick Lamar has released a video for the song “Sing About Me” off of the album good kid, m.A.A.d city.
The video was directed by Darren Romanelli (Wilco’s “Dawned On Me”) and features Lamar drifting around Compton until he meets up with Eddie Peake, a graffiti artist that has been working on a mural for most of the video. When they meet, Lamar performs in front of the work of art. A continuation of the video will be revealed in part two (“I’m Dying of Thirst”), which will be released next month.
