Run the Jewels Stream “Pew Pew Pew” in Full and it Sounds Glorious

You heard a snippet of the song earlier in December thanks to a Boiler Room DJ set, but now it’s time to hear it in full. Run the Jewels (El-P + Killer Mike) have put up “Pew Pew Pew” online today for streaming, and it sounds even more glorious than the sample suggested.

Run the Jewels put out their debut self-titled mixtape for free this summer which ranked highly on nearly every 2013 “Best of” list. To celebrate the album’s success, they’re releasing a deluxe “European edition” of the debut which includes three bonus tracks, including “Pew Pew Pew” and a kickass remix of “Sea Legs” by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek (which you can hear here). “Pew Pew Pew” starts off with a clip from their live show before a dubstep-groan beat swarms in, covered by El-P’s rhymes about independence and Killer Mike’s shoutout to Grand Theft Auto V. You can order a copy of the Run the Jewels European edition over at Big Dada.
