Britney Spears Wants To Get Back Into Acting

Britney Spears has been bitten by the acting bug again. She just started her Las Vegas residency this past weekend, but the pop star has her eyes set on returning to the big screen; lucky us.

The singer recently said, “I would love to do movies. If it was the right part, it would be really cool…I love funny movies.” Spears also mentioned she’d love to work with Jennifer Lopez. Can you imagine JLo in the never-anticipated Crossroads sequel?

Who knows when and if she’ll ever make it back to the acting world though since she has her Vegas show for the next two years at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Lip-syncing can take a lot of out of you.

Spears’ Vegas show is going on now, but will take a month long break after the holidays. She’ll return to the stage at the end of January. Now to remind everyone why she should just forget about movies, the trailer from Crossroads.
