Carly Rae Jepsen To Star In Broadway Production Of ‘Cinderella’

Carly Rae Jepsen, whose ubiquitous hit single, “Call Me Maybe,” topped charts in 2012, will be making her Broadway debut next year in Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. The Canadian singer-songwriter will be taking on the lead role of Ella in the classic story, a part previously played by Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes.

Jepsen will be appearing alongside Fran Drescher, star of This Is Spinal Tap and TV series The Nanny, who will be playing Ella’s stepmother. The role is also Drescher’s first on Broadway following a long career in film and television.

The production will run for twelve weeks starting on February 4, 2014, and you can pick up tickets to a show right here.
