The Appreciation Post Release New Music Video

If you have a soft spot for raw, catchy pop punk with infectious keyboard lines in the vein of Motion City Soundtrack and Houston Calls, then The Appreciation Post might be your new favorite band. The Boston, Massachusetts quintet will release a new EP, Slip Away, on January 21, and you can watch a music video for the first single, “Quick, Brain,” after the break. According to the band, the budget for the clip amounted to a whopping one dollar, but that dollar went a long way towards making a fun accompaniment for a solid tune.

The Appreciation Post funded the recording and pressing of Slip Away, which was produced, mixed, and mastered by frontman Jim Keaney, through a successful Kickstarter campaign. It follows the 2012 deluxe reissue of their excellent sophomore release, Work/Sleep. Preorder a copy of the new EP and pick up their older releases on their Bandcamp page.
