New ‘House Of Cards’ Season 2 Trailer Teases Conspiracy and Murder

Netflix struck gold when they debuted their political drama House Of Cards in 2013. Everyone knew the leader in movie streaming was planning a big roll out of original content at the time, but I don’t think anyone expected the kind of instant success the Kevin Spacey-led series found upon its initial release. Now season 2 is just a few weeks away from release, and earlier today a new trailer found its way online.

Picking up shortly after the events of season 1, House Of Cards returns this February with more witty narrative and talk of conspiracy than ever before. The new trailer finds Spacey commanding nearly every frame, with appearances from pretty much everyone who has appeared on the show up to this point. There is talk of murder, crime, and the reluctancy of those who know what is going on behind closed doors to act. You can view the clip, in full, at the end of this post.

House Of Cards season 2 makes its Netflix debut on February 14. People who own certain LG internet-enabled televisions will be able to stream the series in full 4k resolution. While that only applies to a small part of the viewership right now, it’s the kind of minor news that should make big waves amongst fans of technology. 4k resolution offers a picture that is four times as well-defined as 1080p. It’s literally like having a movie theater screen for a television. If you want, they’re currently about $3000 new, but with shows like House Of Cards hopping on the resolution bandwagon those prices should begin dropping over the course of the year.
