ICP Suing FBI For Labeling Their Fans As A “Gang”

Whether you are a fan of Insane Clown Posse or not, you may know about the report that the FBI’s National Gang Intelligence Center published back in 2011 labeling Juggalos as a “loosely organized hybrid gang.” Shortly after, the hip hop duo responded by threatening to take legal action against the FBI and Justice Department for discrimination. Now it looks as though they are officially moving forward with the lawsuit, and New York Times has some insight into what’s going on.

The lawsuit lists the two members of ICP as well as four Juggalos as plaintiffs. The four additional plaintiffs are claiming they were discriminated against due to their support for the band by police and other government officials. This includes allegedly being harassed by police and being denied military recruitment. You can read the full story by the NYT by heading here.
