Lorde and Metallica Will Perform at Grammys

In case you haven’t heard, this year’s Grammys is going to be incredible. The lineup already includes a star-studded list of performances like Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder, Kendrick Lamar, and Pink. Now the Recording Academy confirmed that Metallica, Lorde, and Katy Perry will also be performing at this year’s gala — together (just kidding).

This is Metallica’s first time in over two decades performing at the Grammys though and they will be accompanied by Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang because, well, we’re not sure why, but they were nominated for Best Recording Package for the Through the Never soundtrack. Lorde will most likely be performing “Royals” for her Grammys debut considering it was nominated for both Song and Record of the Year.

Tune in to CBS on January 26th to see the Grammys, held in none other than Los Angeles.
