Stream Thee Silver Mt. Zion’s New Single “Take Away These Early Grave Blues”

As previously reported, Godspeed You! Black Emperor offshoot group Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra have a new album coming out called Fuck Off Get Free We Pour Light on Everything. They’ve gone and shared a new single off that album called “Take Away These Early Grave Blues” which you can stream after the jump.

The song starts off with a sound bite before launching into some seriously heavy string parts and yelling/singing. If you were headed towards something imminent and terrifying, this is train you would take to get there. Compared to “Austerity Blues” (which you listen to here), “Take Away These Early Grave Blues” is a more chaotic and pressurized piece that shreds on violin three times as much.

Fuck Off Get Free We Pour Light on Everything will be released January 21 via Constellation Records, following up their 2010 release Kollaps Tradixionales. Check out the album’s full tracklist below as well as the stream of the song:
