ASTR Stream ‘Varsity’ EP In Its Entirety Ahead of Release

Early in 2013, we brought you the video for “Operate” from New York duo ASTR. The song originally got our attention when we found it on Soundcloud and we expected big things from the two as their slick production and vocals made for one helluva pop package.

Here we are roughly 8 months later with ASTR set to drop their debut 6-track EP, Varsity, next week on January 21 via Neon Gold. Today, the duo are streaming all 6 tracks over at The Fader ahead of their official release. If you’re a fan of Rihanna or pop duos like Purity Ring with heavy bass production then you’ll be sure to enjoy what ASTR have given us on Varsity. There’s even a Drake cover for those of you into that kind of thing.
