Motley Crue’s ‘Final Tour’ To Feature Support From Alice Cooper

All bad things must come to an end.

There has been talk about Motley Crue throwing in the towel in 2014 for well over six months at this point, and on January 28 the group has planned a press conference in Los Angeles to outline just what that outing will entail. Unfortunately, a new image making the rounds online seems to have revealed one of the tour’s biggest surprises a little sooner than planned.

A new tweet from Eddie Trunk – co-host of the VH1 Classic television program That Metal Show who has a long-running radio show, “Eddie Trunk Rocks” (formerly “Friday Night Rocks”), on New York’s Q104.3 FM – seems to reveal Alice Cooper as direct support for Motley Crue’s farewell run, which is apparently titled the ‘Final Tour.’ You can view the image, which also claims the tour is sponsored by Dodge, below.

No dates for the tour are available at this time, but frontman Vince Neil told Billboard in 2013 that the tour would probably begin in the summer and extend into 2015. If true, you can expect worldwide dates, likely with additional openers TBA.
