Young Thug Collaborates With Meek Mill To Deliver “Hundreds (I Have A Dream)”

There were many images and editorials released yesterday to celebrate the memory of Martin Luther King and his impact on modern society, but none can hold a candle to the tribute released by Atlanta native Young Thug.

Okay, that’s not entirely true. Anyone familiar with the work of Young Thug should know better than to think the guy behind “2 Cups Stuffed” would release an actual tribute track. “Hundreds (I Have A Dream),” which arrived online yesterday (January 21), features a sample from Martin Luther King Jr.’s most well-known speech and little else as far as the tribute angle is concerned. Instead, listeners are serviced an infectious hook about Thugga Thugga‘s love of wealth, as well as new verses from the “Danny Glover” rapper and track collaborator Meek Mill. You can stream and download “Hundreds” below.

We wrote about Young Thug at length yesterday, so this time I want to keep it relatively short. This young man is barely in his twenties, but will soon be on the cover of every urban music publication worldwide. Now is the time to familiarize yourself with his work.
