The Hold Steady Announce ‘Teeth Dreams,’ Stream New Song

Four years after the release of their last album The Hold Steady have returned with a new record and a new label to call home.

Teeth Dreams is the sixth studio album from The Hold Steady, and according to a new story on RollingStone this morning the record will be released March 25 through Washington Square, a new imprint from Razor & Tie. The band’s new single, “I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You,” can be streamed at the end of this post.

Speaking with RS about the album, frontman Craig Finn revealed the group has their eyes set on taking things to a new level with Teeth Dreams.

“We were looking to make a big rock record,” he admits. “Maybe it’s less wild but in some ways that makes it a bigger record.”

Preorders for Teeth Dreams have yet to launch, but we expect additional information regarding the album’s release will be available soon. Stay tuned for updates.
