Citizen Frontman Releases New Split

If you only know Mat Kerekes from his work in alternative emo outfit Citizen, then you’re missing out on some of his best work. The frontman shows his softer side on a series of EPs and singles released periodically over the past couple years on his Bandcamp page. The latest entry in Kerekes’s catalog is a split LP with his equally talented brother, Chris, titled Winter Split.

Each artist contributed five new songs to the album, which you can stream after the break and purchase for five dollars at the Bandcamp link above.

Kerekes and Citizen will be hitting the road in just over a month with The Wonder Years, Defeater, Real Friends, and Modern Baseball as part of the The Greatest Generation Tour. Check out those dates right here.
