Lana Del Rey is up for several Grammy awards this year and she just hit the Breakthrough Prize Awards stage to perform as well. The awards show honors scientists who have made major developments in our understanding of the world. Why she was playing there is a bit confusing, but Rolling Stone have an exclusive preview of her Breakthrough performance which you can watch after the jump.
In the video, you can hear Del Rey sing the already slow “Video Games” dramatically slow. Like, really, really slow. The heavy piano and backing strings only make it all the more dramatic.
