Hear Cloud Nothings’ New Song, “I’m Not a Part of Me”

Cleveland-based pop punk grunge group Cloud Nothings have just debuted a new song, “I’m Not A Part Of Me,” on Sirius XMU off their forthcoming LP Here And Nowhere Else. It’s spot-on for what you’re wishing, that is if you want “I’m Not a Part of Me” to bring you back to the brilliance that we saw on 2012’s Attack on Memory.

The new record is a “more subtle” album, most likely taking the challenging route most third albums are supposed to take — pushing their previous sound in a new direction. It was recorded in Hoboken, New Jersey in a week before they mixed the record in producer John Congleton’s studio in Dallas. You can pick up the album via Wichita on March 31 or Carpark on April 1.

“It’s not just an in-your-face rock record,” frontman Dylan Baldi previously said about the new record. “There’s more going on. You can listen to a song twenty times and still hear different little things in there that you didn’t notice before.”
