Required Listening: Romeo Santos Featuring Drake – “Odio”

Aye Champán Papi.

Drake is already a well-established international superstar, but this morning he’s making Latin listeners feel a bit more love with an appearance on Romeo Santos’ new single, “Odio.”

The latest offering from one of Latin music’s biggest names, “Odio” is a sensual pop song that would be worthy of mention with or without an appearance from Young Money‘s Canadian hitmaker. Romeo has a voice like no other, and it is paired with a groove that cannot be denied, even if you do not understand the language. You can stream the song below.

The verse Drake adds at the end of “Odio” finds Aubrey channeling the “Versace” flow for the third or fourth time in recent memory. The would usually be a complaint for most rappers, but here the “Worst Behavior” creator makes it feel new once more with a description of a woman that is nothing short of picturesque. You better believe girls will feel weak in the knees when this song plays.

Romeo Santos is currently signed to Sony and is expected to release a new album in 2014. Drake’s latest, Nothing Was The Same, is available now wherever music is sold.
