The Appreciation Post Release New Music Video

Boston’s The Appreciation Post released their latest EP, Slip Away, last week, and it has quickly become a favorite among pop punk fans here at Under The Gun due to tracks like “Auxiliary Floor Toms.” With background that is equal parts Motion City Soundtrack and The Starting Line, the song offers a look at recent music industry trends from the relatable perspective of a guy who still listens to rock and roll, even though he knows that “banjos are the craze with all the kids, and plucking mandolins is hot.” The band’s new music video also captures that feeling of not fitting in, with the quintet performing for a single superfan, played by comedian Nick Lavallee. Check it out after the break.

After you watch the video, head over to The Appreciation Post’s Bandcamp page, where you can stream all six songs on Slip Away and purchase a copy on CD and 10″ vinyl which we reviewed this past week.
