“I’m not the same guy you kissed. I’m a miserable shit, and you know it.”
The Chronicles of Gnarnia is one of my most anticipated releases of 2014, even if it’ll probably be like 20 minutes in total length. Today, the Brighton-based emo-punk act that will be releasing said album on February 24 via Pure Noise, has unveiled a lyric video for a brand new single, entitled “Tongue Surfer.” It’s currently premiering over at PunkNews.
Even despite a minor misspelling in the video, it doesn’t distract from the candid, heartfelt lyrics about the woes of growing up- or…not growing up. At a mere minute and forty-one seconds, the song is over before you know it but it certainly instills in you a burning desire to hit “repeat” numerous times afterwards.
Catch the video after the jump and make sure to pre-order a copy of The Chronicles Of Narnia, which has one of the best album covers of 2014 so far, hands down.
“And honestly, there’s more to me than honesty.”
