Red Hot Chili Peppers And Bruno Mars To Cover Led Zeppelin At Super Bowl

Over the past decade, Super Bowl half-time shows have run the gamut from massive spectacle to tame and uninspired. Where this year’s collaboration between pop icon Bruno Mars and funk rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers will fall on the spectrum remains to be seen, but Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith gave us a little taste of what we can look forward to this weekend. In an interview with Artisan news, which you can watch after the break, Smith revealed that Mars and the band will be covering the live version of Led Zeppelin’s “Dazed and Confused.”

The half-time performance won’t be the extent of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ involvement in the Super Bowl festivities. The Los Angeles band will also be taking part in a series of concerts held around New York City this weekend.
