Sylar Sign To Razor & Tie, Release New Song

Metalcore band Sylar have been slugging it out independently since 2011, releasing two EPs and touring with acts such as My Ticket Home and For All I Am, but things are about to change in a big way for the Queens, New York quintet. Today the band announced that they have signed to Razor & Tie Records, also home to metal and hardcore brethren Hatebreed, For Today, and Norma Jean.

Sylar will release their debut full-length later this spring through the new label. The record will be titled To Whom It May Concern, and you can watch a lyric video for a brand new song called “Mirrors” after the break. If you’re in the mood for brutal breakdowns and double bass-driven riffing, Sylar should suit you well.

Along with the album and signing, the band have also announced a string of shows with Ice Nine Kills and For All I Am in March. You can check out those dates below.
