‘The Lego Movie’ Spoofs ‘Man of Steel’ in New Trailer

The countdown clock for The Lego Movie has officially struck one week and the anticipation is killing most of us. The excitement only continues to grow thanks to hilarious trailers like the latest one that spoofs Man of Steel with their own “Man of Plastic.”

This trailer went the extra mile and used the same Hans Zimmer score from the Superman movie. However, we don’t learn anything new but it’s still funny to watch the helpless Emmet try and save the Lego universe from the menacing bad guy who is plotting to glue everything together.

The average man Emmet is played by Parks and Recreations Chris Pratt, the evil one with glue is voiced by Will Ferrell and the rest of the cast includes big names like God AKA Morgan Freeman, Elizabeth Banks, Alison Brie, Liam Neeson and more.

“The greatest movie ever assembled” hits theaters next week on February 7. In the mean time don’t forget to watch The Lego Movie‘s Man of Steel spoof below.
