Despised Icon Announce Reunion, Plan Worldwide Festival Appearances

Despised Icon went on hiatus in 2010, but this morning they’re back in our headlines with news they will perform together once again in 2014.

Yes, after just under four years away the members of Despised Icon have decided to return to the stage. The band claims to have no plans to record new material or embark on quote ‘money-making’ tours, but they are planning a series of festival appearances around the world. The first few dates, all part of the Impericon festival, can be found below alongside an official reunion announcement from the band.

Speaking on the reunion, Vocalist, Alex Erian offered:

It?s been over 3 years already since we played our last shows and long story short, we genuinely miss it. After a few talks and a couple of beers, we decided to get back together temporarily to play a handful of shows. We?re excited to announce that we?ll be returning to Europe in April on the Impericon Festivals in Vienna, Manchester and Cologne. To our friends in Canada and the US, we?ll have some good news for you as well in a few weeks. Thanks for sticking around with us after all these years. Can?t wait to see you all and crush the stage, one more time. Keep it brutal.

We will keep an eye out for those North American dates and let you know as soon as more information becomes available.
