One of the biggest club anthems of 2013 has been given new life thanks to a remix featuring the biggest names in hip-hop right now.
Adding Maybach Music Group CEO Rick Ross, DC native Fat Trel, and rising Atlanta superstar Young Thug to his second biggest hit of last year, Wale has created something special for the official remix of “Clappers.” The song begins just like the original, but before the two-minute mark a brand new production from Hit-Boy floods your speakers and remains for the duration of the track. It’s more aggressive than the original, but we certainly are not complaining. You can stream and download the “Clappers” remix below.
Wale wrote to fans back in January and declared a renewed dedication to his focus on fan over critics. Fall 2013 found the DC native embroiled in a handful of controversies, included a now infamous voicemail to Complex, but he seems to have turned over a new leaf in 2014. We’ll bring you more on his plans for the future when additional details begin to surface.
