Sianvar Won’t Be Touring For The Rest Of 2014

As you probably know by now, Sianvar consists of members of A Lot Like Birds, Dance Gavin Dance, Stolas and Hail The Sun. All of these bands have a lot of their own things going on most of the time. Because of that fact, Sianvar had to unfortunately announce the inevitable news that they would likely not be doing much of anything this year — especially touring. They just ended an extensive tour with A Lot Like Birds, and it appears as though that will be it for the rest of 2014. However, they have stated that there will in fact be a full-length record at some point in the future.

A message from Sianvar…

Thank you everyone who came out to a show on this past tour. Just so you all know, these past shows were most likely the only ones for 2014. Sianvar was formed as a little experiment and it progressed rapidly. It started as a text, then a jam session, which quickly became an EP and ultimately a tour. We don’t know when Sianvar will get together again, as Will has Dance Gavin Dance plans, Joe and Butter have A Lot Like Birds touring, Donovan has Hail the Sun writing a new album, and Sergio has Stolas wrapping up writing for a new album. We’ve all talked about Sianvar doing a full-length, but who knows how soon we can all get together for that (There will be one in the future). Again, thank you to those who came out to a show and supported us.

Sianvar will be a little silent for a while…
