Netflix Confirms Third Season of ‘House of Cards’

Political dramas are a hot commodity in the world of entertainment these days, and Netflix is taking steps to ensure their top dog stays in the pen a while longer.

House Of Cards established Netflix as a true competitor in the world of original entertainment. Though no numbers were ever released, the fandom for the show and continued praise throughout 2013 more than speak to the show’s impact on culture. With Season 2 scheduled to debut February 14, Netflix surprised fans this week the confirmed a third season is already begin planned for 2015. No production date or plot information is available at this time, but we can assume Kevin Spacey will return to further twist and mold the forces leading the nation.

Ted Sarandos, the chief content officer for Netflix, once stated that he believed the show could extend for several more seasons.
