Chiodos Discuss Thomas Erak In New Video

GuitarWorld has premiered a video from Chiodos, in which the band discusses its newest member, Fall of Troy front-man Thomas Erak.

The video features commentary from all band members, and highlights on the rewards of adding Thomas to their roster. Their highly anticipated new album, Devil, is due out April 1. Speaking on the record, vocalist Craig Owens had this to say,

Devil isn’t something I thought long and hard about. It is something that hit me, and hard. I asked myself if I was brave enough to stand behind such a strong, emotionally evoking word, and I knew right then that was it. This title is not to be confused with the muscled, red-horned man surrounded by fire.

For those of us who can remember back to 2005, The Fall of Troy’s Doppelganger released within a few months of Chiodos’ All’s Well That Ends Well. I still can see the ripped out Alternative Press ad taped to my wall. I find it incredibly interesting to see these worlds physically colliding, and while I always preferred The Fall of Troy to Chiodos, I am anxious to hear what this unification brings.

Follow us after the jump to take a look at the new video, and make sure to check out Chiodos’ new record, Devil, April 1, through Razor & Tie records.
