STREAM: Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks – “Little Fang”

Animal Collective’s Avey Tare broke out a new band last summer for a few shows called Slasher Flicks, but we never actually got any studio recordings. Now, at last, Slasher Flicks have announced they will be dropping their debut LP this April, Enter The Slasher House, and have a playful single to share as well. Give it a spin after the jump.

The single, titled “Little Fang,” features Dirty Projectors’ keyboardist Angel Deradoorian and Dan Deacon’s drummer Jeremy Hyman. After many were undecided about Animal Collective’s Centipede Hz, Slasher Flicks’ single promises a return to their melodic, giddy sound without going overboard. The full album comes out April 8 via Domino.
