Lana Del Rey Reveals Potential Release Date For ‘Ultraviolence’

Lana Del Rey may have inadvertently revealed the release date of her upcoming album earlier this week.

While out one evening, Lana was spotted by fans who asked for a few moments of the singer’s time. Del Rey obliged, and someone among the group decided to pull out their cell phone to capture everything that would follow. Lana sang for the group then, while responding from a question asked by the person holding the camera, mentioned off-handedly that her new album would be available May 1. You can view the footage below.

We have known Lana Del Rey was working on a new album for many months, and in December we learned the titled would be Ultraviolence, but as far as we can tell this is the first time a release date has been mentioned. No one from Del Rey’s camp has confirmed the date just yet, but we expect an announcement will be made sooner than later. You can follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
